Jack 17 Months

I 

Before I go any further, I'd like to point out that Jack is either standing or laying on top of a piece of furniture in all of these photos but one. So there ya have it. Welcome to our life!!!

Though this about sums him up in a nut shell, I'll share a few other tidbits about our son:

-loves helping in the kitchen

-is moving chairs to climb up and reach things

-a real food scavenger

-no really. don't ever leave anything out or you will turn around and find him devouring it
-case in point:

 -or again here pictured with his sister's unattended granola

 -current favorite pastime: turning lights on and off and pressing buttons around the house while you hold him

-also finally getting reading books
-would live outside if we let him

 -gave up his high chair for Lent

-and for that matter, practically gave up the entire dinner meal (he's usually too tired to eat)

-loves granola and yogurt

 -is 100% addicted to his binky

-calls it his "this"

-loves to spit air up toward his bangs so they blow up and fall back down
-super clingy at dinner time 

-signs more when and only when getting his diaper changed (don't ask me)

-now sporting at least 6 teeth

 -understanding so much of what we say now
-walks around on his tippy toes

-sort of loves tv (which of course we NEVER let him watch) ;)

-is a bit of a goof and can always be found using the furniture in unique ways 

-suddenly began talking, literally overnight

-says Isla, Emma, Jack, Mama, Dada, Grandpa, Grandma, Lani, Gideon, Lilly, Oliver, Hadley, ball, hush, nigh nigh, yogurt, rock rock and many, many more

-is a chick magnet, need I say more?

-says "cheers" and loves to clink glasses at mealtime

 -constantly moving, climbing, running, chasing, banging and keeping us on our toes
-and I must confess I secretly sort of love it
